Summer Lunch Program: For children who rely on school meals for the bulk of their nutrition, summer break becomes something to dread rather than a time filled with fun and new learning experiences. There was a request expand the program due to concerns for what happens to the nutritional needs of the children for the rest of the summer. So the program returns -- and it will be bigger and better! Help prepare and deliver lunches for the Summer Lunch Program.

Horizons4Girls: Mentors work one on one with a specific student as well as work in a group setting and chaperone on field trips. Mentors can work daily, once a week, or even once a month. The time committment is from after school pick up through take home time, approximately 5:30 p.m. This includes picking the student(s) up and transporting home. Most important is consistency in the schedule, since that is typically missing in the lives of these young ladies.
